Confessions
‘Confessions’ began during college, centring on the study of monoprint as inspired by Tracey Emin’s monoprint diaries. The immediate, definite nature of the monoprint technique burns like a wound, acting as a journal to Davidson’s thoughts on the queer experience. The rituals of print - laying out inks, turning the wheel of the press, constructing the images themselves - are near religious. The idea stemmed from ‘The Confessional’ space itself, and moved into a place of not just confession, but confrontation.

Final Installation
The final installation of 6 reductive monoprints sat alongside a handbound zine, named ‘Confessions’, which included images of the prints themselves - the size of a prayer book.
